Refund and Cancellation Policy
How transaction cancellations, failed services and wallet refunds are handled by NICTBD.
Eligibility
A refund is considered when a supported service request is confirmed failed, cancelled or refundable by the platform or provider. A processing or successful transaction is not automatically refundable.
Wallet refunds
Eligible operational refunds are returned to the relevant merchant wallet through a ledger entry. Duplicate refunds are prevented by transaction and accounting controls.
Processing time
Wallet adjustments are normally reflected after the final transaction state is confirmed. External gateway or banking reversals may require additional processing time.
Disputes
Contact support with the order number, client reference, receiver/account, amount and relevant evidence. Never share passwords, OTPs or sensitive credentials.
Non-refundable items
Completed digital services, consumed licences, registration or activation fees and services already delivered may be non-refundable unless the applicable service terms state otherwise.
